Jon Brooks
He’s the caffeine that KOOL
105
listeners in Burlington, Vermont need to start their mornings. Jon
launched his broadcasting career in a neighbor’s garage on Long Island.
After interning behind the scenes at New York’s WCBS-FM, his talents
earned him a seat behind the mic entertaining radio listeners across
southeastern Connecticut and Rhode Island. He soon migrated to northern
New England and the coveted morning-drive slot. |
 |
David Mendel
He landed his first full-time radio job while still in college. David
has worked in the newsroom and on the air at Newsradio powerhouses in
Boston and Houston and stations in between. As an admirer of pop music
and pop culture, this self-proclaimed radio geek created Broadcastpast and Time Rewind
to pay homage to Top 40 radio of the 60s and 70s, recruiting former
colleagues and other broadcast talent to enhance the show’s appeal. |

Marisa Ramirez
She’s an award-winning radio journalist whose charming manner and
trusted voice has reached millions of homes across the Texas Gulf
coast. Marisa was at the mic when Communism crumbled, the Clinton
scandal erupted and OJ was acquitted. She regularly lends her warm and
compassionate narration to important non-profit projects. |

Gene Tognacci
After years of jocking on radio stations from New England to the Sun
Belt, he created, produced and syndicated programs that aired on more
than 400 stations. Well before “American Idol,” Gene produced
compilation albums as part of a national talent search for some of the
top album rock stations in the country. If you’ve heard radio spots for
Coca Cola Foods, Compaq/HP, DHL, ExxonMobil, Microsoft, Trump Casino
and Valero, odds are you’ll recognize his voice. |
